TNM,Project HDTP,New Visions,Reborn Are They The Same Thing?

Hi, i`m new, are TNM,Project HTDP,New Vision And Reborn all the same mod for deus ex or are they all different mods they can be used singly or different teams doing the same mod.
P.S-HDTP release 1 make JC walk much slower is that supposed to happen?

They're all different projects being worked on by different teams, though we cooperate a lot. Furthermore, TNM is the odd man out in that we don't aspire to change the original game, we're working on our own storyline set in our own world.

HDTP R1 doesn't change JC's walk speed, so it's probably something outside of HDTP. Are you playing on a multicore machine or a laptop, and are you sure you don't get the same issue in the original game?

No, while TNM is like a whole new game world (although similar to DX) with it's own story, new characters, maps and stuff, HDTP and New Vision try to make the old Deus Ex look more modern with reworked graphics but they don't bring in new missions or something like that.

HDTP replaces the old textrures of objects and characters.
New Vision replaces world textures of the maps like walls and doors etc.
TNM will use both whenever possible.

None of the three mods has been released yet. HDTP Release 1 is only a demo.

Yes, and Reborn is a project about porting DX to the Unreal Tournament 2004 engine (UE2.5), this will allow better looking graphics (ie. HTDP and New Vision will look even better in Reborn), and better physics and other enhancements that come with the engine.
