Deus Ex NPCs are absolutely terrified of second hand smoke.

Whenever I smoke cigarettes in Deus Ex the NPCs around me seem to panic and start running around trying to get away.

When I smoke in people's faces they stop to rub their eyes and cough as if they were being hit with tear gas.

One time that augmented girl at the underworld bar seemed to be so offended by me smoking indoors that she got out a sawn off shotgun and started shooting at me.

I know second hand smoke is bad, but seriously what the heck.

Isn't it a mod that does that? Either Hardcore or Shifter, one of those makes cigarettes behave like tear gas. To make them less useless I presume.

If he was using Shifter Jordan Shea, would have killed him with throwing knives... she always seems to get throwing knives from the random inventory >_>

Oh so it's Shifter causing this?

Wow, I almost totally forgot I had Shifter installed. I guess I got so used to playing it with Shifter that I don't really notice it's there anymore.
