Cool, I'm hoping that gets patched. "Slightly improper" isn't really how I'd describe it, it's downright hard to understand at times, because of the speed with which some of the text goes by. And it's discouraging me from reading any of the books, emails, magazines etc., because my brain gets tired of having to mentally correct all the grammatical mistakes and missing words.

I don't think my English has been this bad since elementary school.

Way back when he originally asked for translators I did offer to help out with the translation, but I never heard anything back.
I saw that he asked for help over at the Eidos forums today, try contacting him again if you still want to help.

I have absolutely no free time at the moment, unfortunately. I think I offered to help back in 2008 just before/during my first year of Uni when I had assloads of free time.

It simply crashes and gives me a generic "This program have stopped working" message when i try to start the mod.

Quite understandable, there is plenty of opportunists that want to see this mod prosper. So I am sure someone will fix the texts soon regardless.

I'll keep playing it. There's something different about the combat. Feels more fluid or something.

No one explains where anything is in it! It's fustrating. I don't know what I'm doing half the time.
For example; The Gun Dealer, Eric who asks you too do something to the other Gun seller near by... well where is the other gun seller?

Anyone who decides to fix grammatical errors could add a little more information into the text while they are at it. ;)
Also, I'm currently just legging it from bots because I've got nothing to take them down with to get into the Police Station...
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Downloading now, have to see how I fair with it...Would get Russian version but only words I know in Russian are a couple of swear words for some reason I can't remember why I know them. Swearing sounds worse in Russian for some reason.

Well with all the problems people seem to have with it, good that its got this far.

First had to disable ENB, rather annoying, especially where you start with everything looking over bloomed, especially with the browinish-orange coloration at the start. Second I noticed that the conversation text (3rd person) is too big and a bit annoying. Defiantly needs infolinks to slow down so they don't disappear as fast as they do or at least the one at start goes too fast, didn't play it long. Needs improving to be fine.
rofl i love that thing, i did in fact, do that, some youtuber educated me. sucks theres no voice!!! we should lend our voices or something. Its the no voice thing that keeps me from playing carone's mod. anyway im enjoying it so far
Most mods don't have voice acting (only a few, not need to mention one of them, has voice acting), some of the best including Redsun 2020, Zodiac and Hotel Carone have no voice acting.
