Indoor herb garden

I have a chive seedling at home given to me by my carer. How do I make an indoor chive garden? Is it easy? Will my parents say yes or no to the indoor herb garden?

I think this is not a very good idea. It is probably better to grow it in the garden. I personally don't like it when something extra grows in the garden, but once I came across a garden layout plan. I decided to purchase and use their advice. And you know, I didn't regret it, because I was able to choose the right place for growing vegetables, various trees and flowers.
