It's cold out there!

We had wonderful late-spring sunshine today. I wore shades and unbuttoned my skin jacket.

We have no snow yet. It's like the annual weather cycle has moved at least a month forward since I was a kid. Summer begins in July and ends in September. Fall extends well into January, and we get snow in April.

If we're competing to have the higher temperature, I think Shane can kick your arse, seeing how it's actually summer down there, this time of year.

Its turning out to be a pretty warm christmas here. Worryingly, the warmest I can remember. Not a drop of snow that I've seen. I know those of you who get a lot of it probably hate it, but when it does get cold here, snow makes it worth while IMO.

...well funnily enough, it was only 18 degrees on Christmas day where I live in Australia (Blue Mountains, just outside of Sydney) Which was great! Beats the 28 to 40 degree summers we've been having the past few years.Smike wrote:Yes, Summer in AUSTRALIA. What a completely insane time to have Christmas - no wonder they're all mad down there.
