We had wonderful late-spring sunshine today. I wore shades and unbuttoned my skin jacket.

Nice pic by colleague:

Awesome picture :) Is that from a ski hill? I haven't been downhill skiing in far too long :(

Our snow is basically gone. I went walking in a park today and all the snow is melting away, I kept falling through it into large puddles :p

It's from a ski hill in Gerlos, Austria. I think it's the best pic in the series that does not feature me :P

Yesterday we had nice sun here in NL, but today it's raining :(

We have light flurries here, 0 degrees celsius. A warm day here is considered 10 degrees...

Temperatures are on the freezing end of the thermometer again, so it's time to resurrect this thread from it's icy grave.

Taken this morning, quite early:

We have no snow yet. It's like the annual weather cycle has moved at least a month forward since I was a kid. Summer begins in July and ends in September. Fall extends well into January, and we get snow in April.

It's about 20 degrees Celsius (68 Fahrenheit) around here this holiday season. Coldest it got was a few nights ago, all the way down to 10 degrees!!! (50 Fahrenheit) Brrrrrrr... chilly! I had to put on a coat and wear socks!

Kale knows what I'm talkin' bout.

If we're competing to have the higher temperature, I think Shane can kick your arse, seeing how it's actually summer down there, this time of year.

Yes, Summer in AUSTRALIA. What a completely insane time to have Christmas - no wonder they're all mad down there.

Anyway, no fair crossing hemispheres!

It's still sunny here in California. I was in San Francisco today and it was still in 60's, and that's the Bay Area which is colder than most of California.

Its turning out to be a pretty warm christmas here. Worryingly, the warmest I can remember. Not a drop of snow that I've seen. I know those of you who get a lot of it probably hate it, but when it does get cold here, snow makes it worth while IMO.

...well funnily enough, it was only 18 degrees on Christmas day where I live in Australia (Blue Mountains, just outside of Sydney) Which was great! Beats the 28 to 40 degree summers we've been having the past few years.
