Yup, time and money... biggest limitators.

Currently working on TSLRCM, probably resuming Just Cause II and Psychonauts when I'm done...
Can somebody tell me how I can get a custom avatar?
Oh wait, I already got one...

I've been replaying Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, the GBC game, when I'm in a mobile gaming situation for the last few days. Replayed both GBA Metroids and Link to the Past before that. I've been on a mobile kick, lately. I started to replay the GBA Castlevanias but was surprised to find that they (or at least Harmony of Dissonance) fucking suck now. Maybe I'll try Aria of Sorrow later (the one about collecting monster souls), I remember really liking that when I was a teenager.

Ah yes, those weeks immediately following an exam period. The only time during the semester where one is not behind on one's studies.

Jonas? Now that I'm officially studying, you can go fuck yourself from here all the way to your next job interview for making that comment about time and being able to look back on it.

...hopefully you enjoyed reading that insult as much as I enjoyed making it ;)

Mass Effect 2. Using the ME 1 save from the site, I started yet another new game, this time as a soldier. More to fill in time while my internet was slow. That's been resolved as of 40 minutes ago. I'm toying with the idea of playing ME1 and 2 as Renegade Jane...Vanguard, before or after ME 3 is launched.

Vanguards are pimp. Albeit massively OP in ME1 (lift, throw, use the "recharge powers" skill, lift, throw, shotgun anyone still not in orbit, go to step 1).

Sounds like fun. I'm a hopeless, perhaps hapless suits better, Adept; a reasonable Infiltrator; and a decent enough Soldier. It'll be interesting to see what my Vanguard-ing will be. :P

Well the fucking ever increasing utility bills have arrived. ME 3 could very well be the first game I buy this year. I hope it stays at the $50AU mark.

I don't know if ME 1 has suddenly gone buggified or my PSU is on the fritz. I keep getting CTDs and reboots. In the ME 1 logs there are all kinds of "couldn't find" errors.

Playing ME 2 isn't causing CTDs, it looks as though I'll have to do the uninstall/reinstall business for ME1.

Just had a nice conversation with a senior designer on Mass Effect 3.

Thought you might like to know.

That is all.

Given what I know about ME3, especially the stuff about EDI and Joker, whenever I think of that game I feel vaguely sick.

Erm, Why? :?
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

They're giving EDI a sexy robot body ("sexy" is their word, not mine, its the first adjective used in their design doc/artbook page/whatever it is that was leaked) and apparently at some point you overhear Joker asking Mordin robosex advice.

Apparently EDI has a human body so she can serve "infiltration" purposes, except she's Cortana-y blue and has Twilek head side things framing her face, but an otherwise human body.

"EDI's body needed to be sexy, chrome, and robotic, the Mass Effect version of Maria from Metropolis. We had a lot of discussion about how robotic she would appear, what her "hair" would look like, and whether or not her face would be expressive."
(the leaked script also "confirmed" that she and joker would have sex)
"Delays are temporary; mediocrity is forever."
