I blame the *middle men*.Priests,ayatollah,shaman,etc.They tell eveyone what God's law is but it's their interpretation of the laws anyhow.That's why i'm agnostic.If there is a God and he/she chooses to speak to me then i'll believe,but i'm not going to blindly believe second hand teachings or third and forth hand translations.

Yes, their interpretations of literature, that interpret the will of god. So essentially, they are interpreting the interpreter...
(then again, this is if you assume that the writers of the holy scriptures were being told by god what to write)

Yikes!Wish i hadn't mentioned the 3 day weekend now.Well time for a subject change.They are showing reruns of Cosmos on one of the cable channels here.I spent 10 minutes watching our galaxy colliding with Andromeda umpteen millions years into the future.The late great Dr Sagan is one of my modern(ish)day heroes.
At least he could explain things (usually imponderable to me)in a way i could understand.
