Yesterday there was a client update and it must have been somewhere between 10 to 30 megabytes. Usually there's mention in the 'News' section, but that wasn't. I thought Steam was virtually hackproof, looks like I'm misinformed.

Again always with the informative info!

I've read the link myself, then sent it to my other Steam friends. I also checked with my credit card co. and all is well. They are aware of the situation now, plus they told me I'm not liable if it's used! :D

I have a low limit on the credit card I use online as well... better safe than sorry!

Thanks again for the info! =D>

Well, steam _is_ hackproof...the passwords are encrypted, hashed and spliced (I think that was the word?)

Credit cards are encrypted.

It doesn't mean the system can't be accessed, just that noone can get anything of value.

Its not a bank? But it's just about as hackproof as it can get.

Fallout: New Vegas plus the Old World Blues DLC ftw.

I'd rather be playing it than sitting on the sidelines with a fucked up PC.

It's a game music bundle, pay what you want with a minimum of $1. Shame it doesn't contain the other VVVVVV album, but it's still awesome. Also bought the Sanctum OST on Steam which is also really really good.

No cool limited time deals today so instead I'll preach The Void which is on sale. It's only 4 and a half money units.

I played the void for a bit. Never really got into it. I couldn't figure out if it was just really boring or just had a really slow start. Must have played for a couple of hours and the whole thing just seemed to be walking around. There was no challenge of any sort. I don't mean it was easy. I mean there was nothing standing in your way. Clearly I was missing something...

The game doesn't really get moving until cycle 6 or so. The bit before that is mainly introduction/tutorial.

Also, it's generally thought that the void is a difficult game.

Heh, you can win your top ten wishlist games (good luck with that) if you visit the featured daily deal page. I had to throw in a couple I really don't mind if I don't play, to get the list to ten, just for a one in two and a half millions chance.
