Though they aren't quite as great as some make them out to be, Arcade Fire have a very rich, emotional sound. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEZockGkEyY

I haven't listened to much Peter Gabriel at all, but that was an excellent cover; a nice intensity to it.

Peter Gabriel is great - such an oddity in pop music.

My favorite song of his is - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beQ7YrjLJ2U - No Self Control
In fact his whole 3rd album would be a desert island album for me. :)

Heavy Metal music.

Almost no one listens to Black Sabbath anymore, yet I think they're awe-inspiring . Also, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Metallica and so on.

I like most kinds of music, leaning more towards Rock/Punk/Metal.
I saw Iron Maiden a few years back
I'd love too see Motorhead.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

I just find that metal is so over the top, I mean for me the anger, death and destruction seems so unjustified. I don't mind listening to metal now and again (e.g. Tool or Metallica), but I don't empathise with it to a great extent. Also, I find that a lot of goths/emos/hardcore metal fans I meet haven't really got it all that bad, so why do they try to advocate social breakdown and non-conformity?
