'scuse me while I fangirl. The feather attached to his hood is the only thing I object to. It looks stupid.

This better not be anything like the Patriot... Or there will be hell!

Damn you Mel Gibson.

I must admit, I was a little taken back by the time frame and character; but I guess Desmond's ancestry needed to end up in America eventually.
I'll be interested to see how this plays out though.

Note, I haven't played Revelations yet. It's sat on my desk right now but I'm sort of leaving it for a little bit. Probably until after ME3.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Shame he's not British, I wanted the protagonist to be Cockney. :( DISAPPOINT!

There better be Pirates!

I'm not biased in anyway; but that'd be pretty cool.
Though, I'd get annoyed with it eventually.

You can't take a joke it seems. I'm excited for the game because it'll be really interesting to see how the game design changes based on the era its set in. That said, I stopped playing Assasins Creed for its story around Brotherhood- because its just gotten so damn silly. I get the feeling this one will be just as silly. But nothing stopping me from having some good old fashioned fun killing soldiers and doing annoying errand missions for douchebags. I do enjoy the games, but if you're playing for the story, you're doing it wrong. And I won't be surprised if this game copies Patriot, National Treasure or even Dances With Wolves. That doesn't mean it can't be fun- but it just means I have no reason to take it seriously.

I still play it for the story. :(
Admittedly, I haven't even started Revelations and apparently that doesn't add a lot to the story in the same way Brotherhood did very little to the overall story, compared to Assassin's Creed II anyway.
I'll be interested in what Revelations has to offer when I get around to playing it, from what I've heard, it's a bit mixed.

I'm sure AC III will be more beneficial to the story driven elements of the series than the previous two games.

Story Reason: she was a templar
Real Reason: Ubisoft couldn't pay her voice actor anymore. (but in all fairness I don't mind her, she's a good actress, she was just underused- so much potential wasted IMO).

What I think is stupid is that Altair has so much bloody Templar blood in him (given how many of his ancestors went boom boom with templars), it makes no sense why he survived other than "He's an assassin" INSTANT LOOPHOLE. That Assassin Blood must be worth a lot lol. In my eyes given what Altair did, it would've been fitting to see Desmond do exactly the same thing and settle down with a nice Templar girl :D

I haven't played any of them (bought em on steam though, just have no time), and I have no idea about the plot.
So I guess..templars? And fucking? Possibly templars fucking?

Plus I'm assuming stabbytiem, or srsly: wtf.

Anyway, yeah: spoiler tags, possibly?
