Re: First Dishonored video footage
Why that makes sense, the problem is that I am already about halfway towards 'you almost matter' level in terms of frequent flier miles, so I think it would currently be more productive to either work towards the actual level, or open a new account and get a negative balance...

....aaaand it comes for PS3 first (maybe Vita), then ported to PC and maybe XBOX.

Re: First Dishonored video footage
Apparently that Tomorrow thing from Bethesda was for Dishonored, not Skyrim DLC like everyone seemed to think.gamer0004 wrote:Seriously? Can't find it on teh interwebz.

Re: First Dishonored video footage
Looks really nice. I still can't find information about a PS3 version first, port to PC and Xbox 360 later.
Re: First Dishonored video footage
so long as it comes to pc eventually, I'll be happy.
We've had the discussion concerning control schemes of ports before, but considering that my personal favorites in terms of movement are Oni and Mirrors Edge, and they're ports, and considering how smooth the graphics of ports can be these days, here's to hoping it won't be messed up by that!

Re: First Dishonored video footage
I'm a bit confused (nothing new there), as RPS didn't mention any other versions other than PC in it's piece about Dishonored. I can't check as my internet is too slow to get RPS' pages loaded.
Growing old is inevitable.......Growing up is optional
Re: First Dishonored video footage
Shame it's just pre-rendered, but I guess that's par for the course now. At least it seems to be trying to show what the game is actually like.

One of my most (if not the) anticipated games of 2012, I have high hopes for this one...

may contain traces of universal ammo..AEmer wrote: so long as it comes to pc eventually, I'll be happy.
I kid.. I kid..
I'm more worried about QA given that this is BethCo. And their QA standards are non-existent. (Plus Todd's involvement = QA... Whats QA?)
Re: First Dishonored video footage
It wouldn't be a proper emergent FPSRPG without a shitload of bugs.
Bugs are so hip, man. All the cool games have them.

Hahah yeah. A lot has happened since 2003.
Just look at this:

Look at it. Subtitled "the future war on terror". In 2003. Because 9/11; that shit was hot, and ISA needed to get on that shit.
*massive cringe*
I'm not saying that developing invisible war for simultaneous console and pc release didn't have negative consequences back then, but ultimately, it was the pisspoor decision making in the leadership behind that game that messed it up.
Re: First Dishonored video footage
New E3 trailer is out. My god it looks so bloody awesome I want it and I want it NOW.
Release date is apparently October 2012. Damn it.

Re: First Dishonored video footage
I don't get how that was impressive. Very low on actual gameplay, very high on jumpcuts to copious amounts of blood.
From what little I could see of the combat it looked very bioshock.
