Hacking used to be cool than I got over it. I used to "hack" (script kiddie stuff) servers and then host an FTP program, open another port, patch the one I broke into, and host warez on the server. Pretty cool and got some gigabit (1000/1000) servers, but after a while the thrill wears off and it's time to do leet things, like get laid, get cash, etc

Some people really are that stupid, others are disinfo agents. The government openly admits paying people to suppress conspiracy theories on the basis they are dangerous. The primary method of discrediting conspiracy theories is to allege the crime relies on spiritual forces or unknown technologies.
