If you want to do an AMA as 'I'm the lead designer for a small game studio which just ran a successful kickstarter, ama', that might still work in your favor. It could potentially net you some extra pledges, and if it's in the last 24 hours, the risk that it makes things worse is probably negible... Though, I suppose, you never know with reddit...

It's okay, we're opening a Paypal hoping the pledges will continue to trickle in, and we're still doing the passive abilities with the extra money we got ($7000 is a lot of money too, after all).

I dunno if I wanna play the beta. On the one hand, I did pay for it. Otoh, do I not want to experience the full product at once?

Well the beta is only the intro campaign, you can play it and still experience the Aztec campaign for the first time when it's completely done.

(To be honest it's more of an alpha than a beta.)

Also it looks like about $3500 worth of pledges didn't go through. Everybody whose pledge failed has 7 days to try again via Kickstarter, let's hope they get off their asses and get it right this time
