There's only about 20 who have pledged less than $15. :)
or pledging a lot without asking for a reward (it's an option)
 How in the world did I not see that?
In that case could I increase my pledge and just have my $30 tier reward then? *Academic question*

Wait, not give $30 but still get $30 rewards?

He's already given $30. He's asking if he can up his pledge without getting the higher-tier rewards. The answer is of course yes.

Cheers Jonas.

@Hassat: Having read my academic question again, I can see how it might have been unclear what I was getting at. Sorry about that. Fortunately Jonas understood. :)

Of course I wouldn't know why anyone would want that since each next tier already includes lower-tier bonusses. So it's not an or/or question...

The point is not about the reward structure, rather the option of not taking further tier rewards if you can donate with the no reward option in place.
Here's a what I'm getting at: I pledge $30, win the lottery and up my pledge to $5000, but I'm happy with my $30 tier reward and don't want to take all the ensuing ones. The question was more out of interest than anything.

Added: It's all been revealed on the "Edit your Pledge" page.

Is it just me or does the interviewer laugh a lot for no apparent reason?

Good interview, though :p

He laughs a lot for no apparent reason.

Also I had influenza throughout the whole thing. Appropriate, considering the name of the site.

Towards the end I think you can tell from my voice that it was half past 11 pm and I was tired as fuck.

I think it's his way of keeping things upbeat. He certainly sounds as though he enjoys, and knows his way around RPG'S. :)

Tigranes on RPGCodex (as news item).
It's long, and it's late... so I didn't read it in it's entirety myself yet.

I read the RPG Codex thing, and finally I understand why previews in the major news media are always so thoroughly positive. Everybody always thinks its corruption or stupidity but no: previews are based on incomplete builds and there's no telling whether any problems you highlight are still going to be in the final game. Case in point: a lot of the criticisms Tigranes has have already been fixed, and most of the rest are just a result of the game being incomplete. I mean it's half-way through the production period, what does he expect that we're going to do with that $70,000 from Kickstarter? :P

(Well, $65,000 once Kickstarter and Amazon have got their cut.)

It's an all right preview though. It's an accurate reflection of the build we sent them.

I'm sure you'll note he also mentions that its an incomplete build and that he suspects some issues will be fixed. And that he also recommends backing it. :)
