I get this error when i launch games from shortcuts.
For example, when I click the Launch 2027 shortcut I get this error.

What is this supposed to mean guys?

That's not good. Something is seriously wrong in your system to get that.

I'd recommend burning your data to dvd or copying it to a new harddisk, and formating your current one and reinstalling.

I don't think that error would happen unless you had a trojan horse in your system doing some kind of exploit; or unless your system was under attack by a hacker or worm.

It looks like some type of stack overflow exploit has been or is being executed on you.

AEmer knows lots more than me but it might be a failing HDD, so back up essential stuff asap.

Erm, what are your temperatures for video card, CPU, and HDD?

...that's actually a good point. It could be a relatively benevolent malfunction.

But you should still follow the advice I laid out. You need a clean start.
