I've heard a few rumors about it also coming to steam, but this is cool.

And I will still not have the courage to play it.

Stupid horror genre.

Holy Diablo Cow!! The version GOG put forward is quite impressive.

It even includes some tweaks and fanpatches. But most of all: it incorporates the incredible patch released a few months back (September): the New Dark Engine!! So this version:

- has 32-Bit mode enabled,

- is mod-ready!!

Holy s***t! I can't believe the news!

Is mod ready, meaning what? You don't need to make any tweaks and shit when you install some of the graphic mods?

Yes! That's just what I meant. But I'll be more thorough:

According to Faelnor a Frenchie from Wefrag who tested the thing a few hours ago :

The Croc's Translation:

The Gog version is out. Unexpectedly it includes Newdark as well as some vital fixes (form SHTUP and ADaOB notably ,…). The game is fully functional from purchase, which impresses me much from GOG. It is also mod-ready which will make this post much more easier. However seeing this version doesn’t include all of SS2Tool fixes, I advise you to install SS2Tool on top.

...is it just my group that has trouble with 4-player multiplayer?

I think that guy mentioned it wasn't designed for multiplayer....erm, he may have been talking about co-op. Anyhow it's mentioned here somewhere on this board and perhaps a couple of months ago.
