Deus Ex: Human Defiance. 1st look comes tomorrow

Post by JC_Helios »

Spotted this on Deus Ex's Facebook

Additionally the page has verified that it is a game, not a movie. Also it may be staring Adam Jensen since they did respond to an Adam imitator telling them it would be his next game.

So... Thoughts? speculation? reactions?

Also Tomorrow is April Fools, so there is that too...

So excited so excited! I'm also very happy they're not ditching Adam, like a certain other video game company does with it's characters *cough*ubisoft*cough*.

Huh. Seems a bit early to show a sequel, but then again, might not take a lot of time if they are still using same engine and stuff.

Cautiously optimistic, but fearing that squenix recent economical troubles will have turned it into a dudebro shooter.

I'm fearing an April Fools Day prank. The link has expired so maybe it's not kosher. It'd be cool if it's true though.

Human Revolution has been out for a couple of years. :?

EDIT: They are, however, re-releasing Human Revolution for the WiiU with a bunch of fixes, including the boss fights. They may release the 'Directors Cut' for other platforms later on. Maybe.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

The post is still there, just might be due to facebook's big complicated links. Should be easy to find here:

That would be it. It's very well done, though.

These ones from her Deviantart I'm guessing.

I probably should have seen it coming a bit more with all of the triangle+triangle= square which means a sequel, and some random community site maintainer being able to verify who is in the game and what engine it uses even before an official announcement

I wonder if they'll actually go through with it if they get those 100k likes.

Also apparently they trademarked the name in case they wanted to use it, decided not to, and made it a april fools joke instead.
