Been rewatching the trailer (and gameplay trailer too). Two things:

1. Sign me up for a pre-order, looks like a great concept and with Jonas behind it the level design should be cracking.
2. What's the music at the end of the teaser trailer*? Is it original or can I find more of that sweet sweet music?

*(For the avoidance of doubt, I mean this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7viiu3vg_Dg)

Any news on a rough release date? And the art style is fine, bloody graphics snobs!

The game should be going up for early access in a couple of weeks. We really need good early access sales, so if you're suitably excited about it, please do pick it up. It comes with a discount and everything.

The graphics have been substantially improved since that teaser trailer. The gameplay trailer is a much better benchmark of how the game looks now (though it was still shot using the old, now replaced security guard models).

As for the music in the teaser, that is of course original - by the eminent Leonardo Badinella also of TNM fame :)

Will definitely grab early access. Is that kinda like Kiclstarter, where I get the whole thing eventually?

Also, any chance of the soundtrack as a DLC or something? Leo Badinella rocks.

May I ask why you need good sales?

I like picking things up at a discount, so count me in :)

Yes but you'll also get the current version immediately. It's like getting to play the alpha while we're finishing up the game.

Because we need more time to finish the storyline missions (early access only contains challenge maps, so there will be no spoilers), and time is money.

Not even the first mission or tutorial?

This seems like maybe a mistake since just including the first mission allows for sum demo-type hype and such.

We haven't even made the first mission yet - being the tutorial, it needs to happen near the end of development, and we're not feature complete yet.

We do have a specific tutorial level for early access though, so people aren't just left to figure it out for themselves.

The challenge maps are very similar to the storyline missions, they just have less storyline (they basically tie into the storyline as side missions, and in the final game will be unlocked alongside the storyline missions as you progress through the story). They also have more randomisation so they're more replayable, and they tend to be very open-ended.

Clandestine is released!
http://store.steampowered.com/app/290530

General consensus so far seems to be: it's too expensive, it looks like shit, and it needs 100,000 new ridiculous features each of which would take one guy a year to implement.

Nah I'm joking, people have been pretty good about the whole thing so far. Just trying to spread the word and convince people to buy it despite the early access tag.

Some dudes on YouTube with a lot of subscribers did a couple of videos of it. Here's the first one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7IB92MO5ko

And here's the second:

If you like my stuff, buy the game. QUICK, BEFORE WE RUN OUT OF CODES*!.

* It's digital distribution, dude. We will not run out of codes.

Prestigious internet magazine RPGCodex also did a piece on it: http://www.twitch.tv/roxorowski/c/5484152

You really need to add a setting for mouse sensitivity btw, the current speed is much too low.

This looks amazing Jonas! Well done to you and your team!
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Sorry for being a terrible person and forgetting this entirely. Have now bought, currently watching the install progress in anticipation.
