Its been ages since I was on here, but I have been quite busy, so thought I'd stop by and see how everything was. Anyway, for the past few days I have had some music stuck in my head which I think is the theme tune to a TV show of some sort, either British or American (I don't think its from any other country), I don't know the entire tune, but I do remember a few seconds of the start of it.

The nearest to it I could find that I could show you, is the start of a mod file called "Abandon" The mod music "abandon" is here: http://www.modarchive.org/index.php?req ... uery=32669 the first 12 seconds sounds quite like the theme music I am thinking about, only just slightly different. If anyone has any idea of theme music to a tv show that this music sounds like, could you let me know?

The first thing I thought of was the X-Files. Similar but not close to what you posted.

Thanks ggrotz, its defiantly not that as I know what the X-Files is and have seen most of the X-Files episodes. It sounds quite similar to the music I mentioned if you add a few extra notes in between and the instrument might not have been a piano...I don't have time now, but I'll make what I think the tune is like, in modplug tracker and post that which will probably help better.

OK, so I couldn't get the right notes to play it in Modplug tracker (I am not that great at making mod music at the moment) but the best thing I can figure out this theme music sounds like is a lot like the "Abandon" music I linked to in my first post, with some extra notes in it that sound a bit like the first 7 seconds of the Hybrid Song here: http://modarchive.org/index.php?request ... uery=66187 if any of this helps.

It kind of reminds me of Fame (TV series), although that might be a bit before your time.

Yeah, I can see what you mean, but its defiantly not fame as that doesn't sound that much like a mix of the start of those two music mods I posted.

Been ages but I finally found the music I was thinking of. Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells, that was probably why I couldn't pin point it to a TV theme.

Doesn't futurama have tubular bells in its intro?
