Some Hotel Costs are way Up this year

All-in price per room, 2 Queen beds. city side was $209/room.

Try the Comfort Inn in Cornwall.......mid August I paid $341.00 plus tax because it was the last room in town. Filthy carpets and the patio doors had to be lifted out of the tracks to slide open because the mechanism was broken.

Sometimes hotel prices change, especially during peak season or in popular destinations. Finding affordable options is becoming quite a challenge these days. I recently booked a trip to Si Como No, and I learned from personal experience that saving money for a good getaway is not a good idea. I chose this resort because of its beautiful location, natural scenery, and scenic views, and now I can't wait to go. You might be interested in visiting their website at https://sicomono.com/ to try something new and different. In any case, have a happy holiday and good luck.

I totally feel you about those rising hotel costs – it's like they've got a mind of their own these days. But it sounds like you scored a decent deal on that Waterfront hotel in NL. Northern ON in mid-Feb sounds like a cool getaway! If you're ever thinking of exploring other places, have you heard of broadbeach accommodation? It's got this laid-back vibe and fantastic facilities that could make your stay even more relaxing. Just thought I'd throw that out there for your next adventure. Safe travels, and enjoy the trip up north!

Has anyone else seen an uptick in hotel prices or found any ways to still snag a deal? Would love to hear some more tips from the community.

Re: Some Hotel Costs are way Up this year
I totally feel you on the rising hotel costs, especially this year. It's getting tougher to find deals that don't break the bank. I had a similar experience while booking a trip recently, and I was genuinely surprised by the pricing of some places that used to be much more affordable.
That said, I've found some luck with https://www.oldroyalpost.com/en/homepage-en/. They've got a pretty extensive range of options, from budget-friendly to luxury, and often run special deals or promotions. One feature I particularly like is their "Best Price Guarantee," which can give you some peace of mind when booking.

Regarding the increased hotel rates, particularly this year, I completely sympathize. Finding deals that don't break the bank is growing harder. I recently had a similar experience when arranging a trip, and I was actually shocked by the prices of some locations that used to be significantly less expensive.

Hotel costs include everything from the cost of building to the cost of insurance, as well as the day-to-day dinosaur game operational costs of starting, running, and ultimately developing a hotel business.

Northern Ontario can be a beautiful destination, retro bowl college especially in the winter.
Re: Some Hotel Costs are way Up this year
Hotel costs, like airfare and almost everything else, are mostly determined by supply and suika game demand. Room supply is not keeping up with pent-up demand, owing in part to a continuous skills and labor shortfall.

The Waterfront in NL can be a bit pricey, but it's usually worth it for the location. I've stayed there before, and the view from the city side rooms is still pretty cool.
