Borderlands: The Saga [cont]
I went and tried defeating Crawmerax and died about 10 times before exiting. I did learn a few things though and now have some sort of idea what weapons are needed. Also I read one guy who reckons the "Second Wind" has an important role in the process. Anyhow, I'm enjoying playing the Siren Class, which, in my opinion, has a bit more variety in playing style than the other classes.

Crusader Kings II. I started out as the Earl of Ulster, and now, after three generations of fabricating claims, usurping titles, changing hereditary law and plotting to kill my own mother, I am the Kind of Ireland. With only one province left on the island defying my authority. I'll get that when our truce expires, you'll see, Duke of Munster.... The other Dukes were much more willing to bend their knees to their rightful king.
It took me a while to get to grips with the game (I'm still not completely up to speed with every aspect I think), but I'm really having fun

I believe I shall be watching a lets play of crusader kings 2.
Re: What are you playing?
I'll cheer EER on from the bleachers since RTS really ain't my thing.
A strange thing in Borderlands; the equipment and level of Lilith playthrough two is now what Lilith playthrough one has. I only found that coz I was checking a map. I've never played the first iteration of a character after I've started the second playing, so forgive me if this the norm.

hey brohams, get yourself some DayZ.
This game is terrifying, satisfying, tensifying, mortifying, awesomefying.
Cool atmospheric music, too.

Re: What are you playing?
DayZ looks actually quite interesting, but I really don't like to play FPS.
In my Kingdom of Ireland, shit was hitting the fan with so many people plotting to kill other people. Even my brother who was married off to some Duchess in Wales was plotting to kill my son and heir. So I took over that duchy and dismantled his plot. Also the king died in a battle, but there is a new king (long live the king). On the longer term I want to become the king of Wales as well.

That's the zombie mod for ARMA 2 right?ZeroPresence wrote:hey brohams, get yourself some DayZ.
Are the controls as clunky and confusing for that as they are for vanilla ARMA?
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

It looks pretty good. The third person aiming still sucks though.nerdenstein wrote:Bah Double Post!

Yeah, E3 was more a talk-fest from what I've been reading.

Just 'completed' Driver : San Francisco (the main storyline, anyway) - a good excuse to use my 360 controller which I bought ages ago and have barely touched since. Very, very fun game and aside from the cliche'd 70s styling was pretty well written too.
Re: What are you playing?
Alert! Mass Effect 3 on sale at Origin. I just bought a copy for $29.99AU.

Erk, it must be a regional thing. Last week it was mentioned as being on sale... but here it was the usual price.
Anyhoo, I've imported Paragon John from ME 2, and did the options thing. We have a long week-end upcoming (yay Diamond Jubilee ), so I'll dedicate a fair portion of it to ME 3.

Wow, you get that too? Travel to the other side of the world and you still can't get away from it.bobby 55 wrote:...We have a long week-end upcoming (yay Diamond Jubilee ), so I'll dedicate a fair portion of it to ME 3.
