Topic hijack now became new topic, I sense the scheming hands of the moderators behind this.

What a neat way to separate a hijacked topic into a new thread. Anyway, back to spiders.
I've lived around many black widow and violin spiders. Stumble into a large nest of black widow spiders, or get a few violin spider bites, and you could end up in the hospital for a while or even dead. If an Australian funnel spider bites you once, and there's no antivenom around within 15min to a few hours, you die. It's why the few Australians that are left stay indoors. Actually, no one has died from funnel spiders since antivenom, but it's still scary. If I was in Australia, before I'd put my shoes on I'd always be careful to light them on fire first.

From which topic did this one spring forth?

This: http://www.offtopicproductions.com/foru ... =18&t=3214
You can see it by the topics of most of the posts in this thread.
I assume Dave got tired of how unrelated this is to New Vision.

Those spiders were just on TV. (A couple of hours ago actually.) It was a Discovery Channel thing about Australia's deadliest animals. Synchronicity, ain't it grand?
Also, Firefox's spell check says that, in spite of what people may say, ain't is a word. (Though it is still grammatically incorrect in the earlier sentence, it should only be used in place of "am not".)

Love that channel. Also as i am a great 'masher' of words, feel free to use ain't any way you please. It might make me look cleverer........maybe notchris the cynic wrote:Those spiders were just on TV. Not a huge fan of discovery, though at least they're playing Mythbusters up to the recent episodes. Discovery has too many god damn "pimp my ride" clones on it- seriously stop pimping shit! I'm sick of watching it- At least Mythbusters is about blowing shit up 90% of the time.
Meanwhile anyone ever seen what happens to a spider if he hides inside of your PSU. Its epic when you turn the power on. That'll teach the bastard.

I wish Discovery would stick to ... discovery. I want tornadoes and archeologists and sharks and nuclear physics and how a candy cane is made. You only need to "discover" how a car, bike, or whatever the fuck is made once. There is no call to make an entire series about it.

Correction, Multiple series.. and then have cross over specials that go for 2 hours. Why I could care about American Choppa winning over some other copy cat show is beyond me.. all I know is I hate them all.. This isn't good TV..There is no call to make an entire series about it.

We also dont need shows on chasing fish, crab, driving trucks on icy roads, logging, taxi game shows, conpiracy theory shows, ghost hunting shows, or shows on mythical creatures/ aliens.
(I think that about covers it, did I miss anything?)
