Using HDTP with the speed fix, how?

Hey,

So it was suggested that I ask you guys, being that you are of course experts of HDTP.

The game runs too fast with FPS's in the 300 range.
This: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... p?t=808112 solves the problem by somehow getting the FPS to 64. I'm not sure how do they do this but through editing the ini's and whatnot I can't seem to use that with HDTP. My end goal is to be using HDTP/New Vision releases, OpenGL and this fix in one. I can't seem to get this to work . Can anyone help since the game seems unplayable on my pc with this speed.

Things I tried:
1. Changing the affinity
2. Adding "FrameRateLimit=100" and "RefreshRate=60" to the openGL heading.
3. Running in compatibility Mode
4. http://kentie.net/article/dxguide/

edit: vsync on slows it back down but than It gets kinda choppy.

Presumably to use that fix you simply replace your deusex.exe with the exe in the fix, right?

*checks* Ah yes, it's hanfling's launcher.

Yeah, so simply take hanfling's fixed deusex.exe, copy it, rename it to hdtp.exe (or whatever the HDTP executable is called, in your system folder). Job done.
