I have taken in some suggestions and shapped the model. The head is now thinner and I agree as soon as I did it, it looked a lot better. The arms are also a little more bulkier so that should help too.

Forgot to say; I did try to pose him however I really can't be sure how he would pose without rigging him so I decided leave that until he's textured.

Much better!

But I still think he could do with more gaunt cheek bones. Looking at the case, his bone structure is more defined.

But, he looks practically spot on thus far.

Definite improvement over the initial release. I don?t see any issue with the model itself. \:D/
My only suggestion is to make the hair darker
Or, is this still an area you plan to work on?

Thx for the preview.

I don't even remember seeing an initial release, so this comes as quite the surprise to me! It looks damn fine, if you ask me (and if you don't ask me, it STILL looks fine, dammit!)

Okay, he still has more of a beer-belly in that second one and now his crotch is part of his beer-belly, strange...and if ThalesA7X posts after this may I remind him I am just being critical like everyone else and doing nothing wrong by posting this reply...

Read what I posted before. Apparently you have no idea how modeling works and stop spamming every thread in the forum. The last person who did got banned.

What is the polygon count?
He's around 4800 but I still need to optimize him a little more.

Just for the sake of being a critic, could we get a shot without his sunglasses to compare with the shot of JC without sunglasses? The eyewear creates an illusion for the rest of his face, I find.

It looks like you slimmed down his head a bit. I think that did wonders for bringing the model a lot closer to the look of the original JC.

Its looking good, VERY good! :)

Here's the thing that seems odd about it to me, it's not his head or his belly, it's his pants. (His trousers if you don't like Catholic saints.)

JC is a guy who wears combat boots into actual combat, all of the people I've seen doing that, mostly soldiers and riot cops, have pants which I think are different from the new JC model. They don't have baggy pants that stick out at the top of the boot, instead they have smaller less likely to get caught on things pants that either are or appear to be (depending on the length of the pants in question) tucked into their boots. In terms of an untextured model the result would be we'd look at it and say, "I can't tell where the boot ends and the pants begin," or there would be a fairly small blulge just above the top of the boot.

I'm certainly not seeing the first and I don't think I'm seeing the second. What I think I'm seeing and instead JC is wearing odd pants.

Did that make any sense?

The tweaked head is much better, imo.
