I seem to recall getting everyone's bug reports collated and compiling them up (since fuck me, it'd be a hell of a lot easier to do it at that point that it would be to do it..say, now) and sending it out to be released as a patch..I mean, that was largely the whole point of collating bug reports.

You might have released a patch (although I do not recall it), but I've never updated the package that's on my webspace. So if anyone got if from the EER euro mirror(tm), I'm pretty sure they didn't receive an update. Ofc I'd be happy to upload a new version (if it's not too big) or you could remove the link to my mirror

Blarrgh. Ok, well the only other problem (other than my ongoing lack of home internet) is that it'd be a simple deusex.u fix (and that's like 5meg total), whereas the download on your mirror is the full exe, which has everything bundled up via trestkon's NSIS installer doofer.

Well, I shall cheekily download the version from your mirror while I'm here at work, then fix the flasks and send the .u file back to you.

So, while I'm at it, any other bugs people have noticed?

EDIT: wow fuck, demo release is only 17meg? Oh boy is THAT gonna change...(HDTPcharacters.u is like 250meg just on its own, at the moment)

Hahaha, yes I have heard the rumours. I don't think my wallet is going to like it if I will host the megapackage that HDTP is going to end up being, but I'd be happy to update the demo package

If you think that's bad: the papers & books that Daveyboy has been doing (and that I have incorporated into HDTP) have ended up comprising almost 50% of the total size of HDTP...(I blame the mipmaps, personally).

Luckily, the way I've coded it up to look for the textures means the package is optional (so could be downloaded separately) but it does look great. Having the UNATCO handbook actually look like a UNATCO handbook is all kinds of ace.

It's not optional its included :@ I have spent almost 300hrs just doing them!. And my upload speed god I'm crying at how slow this new house's pathetic upload speed is.

j/k I know my sarcasm is misunderstood! Found that out on the eidos forums.... I have almost finished the books for final release and will start on the open books shortly. I won't give an ETA for finishing them - just - sometime soonish haha. I have grown quite a fondness for hating ued2 and its crashing... just wish I had a crt for punching got to leave the thin one alone grrrrrrrrrrrr
