Curious little tool
I found this while looking for Morrowind mods.
http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=5535
Basically, it "wraps" the directx .dll's to achieve new graphical features in Morrowind, like a semi-HDR effect, and change how lighting, fog, and shaders effects work ingame.
Is something like this to effect Deus Ex remotely feasable?

Re: Curious little tool
To bring in a little on-topicness:
Whether it's possible within a 'reasonable' timeframe, I don't think so. By the time it's done, DX:R will hopefully be out and it would be redundant.
Technically I'd say it's possible, no doubt.Jetsetlemming wrote:Is something like this to effect Deus Ex remotely feasable?

I don't care about HDR as much as I do antisotropic filtering (I HATE how bilinear and trilinear filtering looks ), and higher detail dynamic lighting shadows. True, I can force antisotropic filtering (and antialiasing) via the Catalyst drivers, but not everbody has that good fortune.
I wonder how long this particular project took whomever made it...

You can force AF and AA with nVidia cards too in the video options.Jetsetlemming wrote:I don't care about HDR as much as I do antisotropic filtering (I HATE how bilinear and trilinear filtering looks ), and higher detail dynamic lighting shadows.
