Re: My theory/rant on capitalism and associated concepts wor
My point being: in moderation, devaluation can totally work, even in the long term. It can work so long as you're not a primary industry based nation, by this I mean, as long as you're dealing in manufacturing and high tech industry then you're fine. But with primary industries you want to dollar t...

Re: My theory/rant on capitalism and associated concepts wor
I should be clear that I'm not 100% black and white on the subject. You seem to be suggesting that I'm affraid to embrace the borderless change that is Globalization- for that matter seem to think that I beleive only the high brow culture should be the driving force.. This couldn't be further from m...

Shame he's not British, I wanted the protagonist to be Cockney. DISAPPOINT!

Re: My theory/rant on capitalism and associated concepts wor
I know that, but there's better ways of doing it. For our generation we've at least adapted to using Video Games for that, so in many cases we've moved on. Cinema is too involved for it to be used in the same way. But I recall things like Childrens TV back in the 80s there were a lot of shows that r...

I find it a bit unfair to label it as entertainment only morons could enjoy just the same. I was going to rant about this, But I found my opinions summarized by this film.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_qgVn-Op7Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFvT_qEZJf8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/w...

Re: My theory/rant on capitalism and associated concepts wor
It's only the highest rating show in the country. I'll pass on your "only morons could be entertained by that" message to my mum. ....or maybe not. once again, Success does NOT equal Cultural Progression. I'd argue that most economically successful things do not advance the culture at all, an...

Re: My theory/rant on capitalism and associated concepts wor
Hold on, I think you contradicted yourself when you stated that people have too high standards and should appreciate that they even have the technology, then you meantioned marketing.. Marketing of course is a means of lowering those said standards or faking that your product meets those standards w...

Re: Expeditions: Conquistador
That looks awesome Jonas. I love the art direction you've taken. I hope this is successful on Winphone 7 so that you'll eventually get the chance to port it to IOS and Android (As this would greatly influence your market potential- since Android and IOS have larger markets over Winphone 7). Best of ...

Re: Doouble Fine's new adventure
I'll translate what I'm suggesting much clearer. Any products that are in pre-production should not be on kickstarter or any community funding service. Clear and Simple. You cannot sell an idea.. you MUST sell a product. When the consumer parts with their cash, they should immediately get a product,...

Re: Doouble Fine's new adventure
Jonas is definately on the right track with his thinking. I've made very similar arguements about Kickstarter. I've been going around propogating to Indies to not use Kickstarter as there are better alternatives out there such as Gamers Gate and Desura. Eventually Valve will incorporate a community ...

They have LBA 1 and 2 (that actually work in Win7).. Go git to itI do like the idea of GOG but I've never really needed to buy a game from there
Re: What are you playing?
@ Mr Cyberpunk What level are you at? And yeah, I agree that it isn't worth the perk points to completely fill out most trees... My roommate found being a destruction mage started getting difficult at around level 25... my last char was level 25, the only issues I ran into was a bug that stopped me...
Re: What are you playing?
Its not worth mastering any one skill (by that I mean getting all the perks). Personally a mix of Destruction and Restoration work really well together (points into Magicka regen that way you're regenerating 50% faster if you get it high enough, not hard if you use trainers). Destruction depends on ...

Re: What are you playing?
Also, on the PC, you can assign favorites in your inventory and spell menues. You can then from the favorites menu assign hotkeys to the items, spells and shouts. Very useful. Also, the mouse does, in fact, work for me in the inventory and spell system. This actually fixes a lot of the problems wit...
