Its like when an asteroid hits the earth. Huge pain and destruction at first but over time it promotes new life and evolution.
...and I wouldn't say we all looked like that back in 2000, I think its just programmers (or people who sit at computers all day) who look like that, and still do today.

Re: Happy tenth anniversary Deus Ex
What would my life be like now if I hadn't met you, Deus Ex? Probably a lot more sociable, but I have no regrets; I am enlightened.

Re: Anna Navarre
There is no way to avoid killing Anna, and it is highly difficult to avoid killing Gunther in Paris, to the point where no one would expect you to not kill him. The writers have never said how old they are.

Re: I can't play Deus Ex any more

Re: Favorite lines from DX
If you guys really are going to have "a conversation only using lines from DX" I recommend that, at a minimum, you use the three line rule. Any three consecutive lines, taken together, should make sense. If two lines before you indicates that the conversation is taking place in a bar, pick a line t...

Re: Deus Ex is the best FPS I've ever played!
Everyone who thinks Deus Ex is better than IW is just nostalgic. The second one has way better graphics, streamlined gameplay, and less boring stuff like inventory management or leveling up abilities. Plus the maps are smaller which means that you can't get lost which was a big pain in the original...
