Re: TNM, now more AWESOME!!

Ha, I knew I'd bloody forget about it last week. Bah.

Never mind though, City of 00n is available on the OP now, so Merry Christmas to you all. Enjoy!

EDIT: Apologies for the toshy frame rate towards the end, crappy CPU is crappy.

Re: Screen tearing

The only program I know of like that is the Catalyst Control Centre, which is logical, but to be honest, I don't do a lot of tweaking when it comes to hardware, so I'm not really up on what's available in terms of software like that. I might have a look in the CCC though (comes with the drivers you ...

Re: Screen tearing

Yeah, Kenties is what I have installed, but even after adjusting the renderer framelimit in the ini, still getting shearing in Phas' apartment. I'm gonna continue on anyway, as I've gotten to the Corporate district now and I haven't really noticed that much shearing except in small maps, so maybe it...

Re: Screen tearing

I kinda prefer OpenGL really, I think it looks nicer, though that may just be in my head. I'm gonna try and see if altering the framelimit down to the refresh rate will do something, never know...

Re: Screen tearing

Ah. Now this is interesting, I now have a mouse problem since switching over to D3D9. The reason I don't just simply make a new topic about this, is I had a brainwave and switched back to EOGL. Lo and behold, no mouse issue. However, screen tearing. Since tearing > inability to aim, I will suffer th...

Re: Screen tearing

Went and fetched the D3D9 renderer, copied over the admittedly surprising lack of ini lines to TNM, directed the ini to use the new renderer, worked beautifully. No more screen tearing. Ta Jonas. :)

Screen tearing

I dug about the help section, nothing jumped out at me on this subject, so I shall create my own topic on this. Just installed TNM, patched all the way up to 1.0.4+, runs fine. Only thing is, I'm getting some quite noticeable screen tearing, like you would without VSync turned on in a Source game. A...

Re: TNM, now more AWESOME!!

Fuck me sideways with a bargepole, I completely forgot about this thread. :? Only discovered this because I felt like havnig a stab at TNM again and went looking for Hassat's patch. Wow, there's a 1.0.5 in the works? I thought 1.0.4 was to be the last... Anyway, I've had my new HD installed for awhi...

Re: Deus Ex speech issue

@justanotherfan: BIOS changes are a last resort, mainly as it's not my pc. But it's a last resort I'll keep in mind. @bobby: I'll take a look at that alternate exe, it looks promising. Will report back either way. :) EDIT: Just tried it and it works excellently. Not a single sound skip or stutter. A...

Re: Deus Ex speech issue

Ok, I'll give those a whirl and see if they make any difference. Will report back... EDIT: Ok, editing the ini to change the resolution didn't work, it still made out as if the resolution was set to something like 640x480, even though it says 1280x1024 in the menu (and the ini). Setting UseDirectSou...

Deus Ex speech issue

There was another topic about this before, but it pertained to newer processors and doesn't help me much, plus is over a year old. Basically, I have a problem with speech being cut off during a conversation before the line is finished. Often with NPC's and rarely with JC. I have a fresh install of D...

Re: TNM, now more AWESOME!!

I probably should've posted this sooner, but I've been busy. For those of you that have been patiently waiting for the next video, I apologise. My gaming HD died a few weeks ago and it took Steam and Audiosurf along with it, as well as 98% of my games. I will resume these vids though, as soon as I g...
