Yay! It seems now I have to reinstall Windows to get rid of some corrupt system files and VC++ installation.

Somewhat unhappy that it turned out like this, but at least it will fix everything.

Just ran memtest and that came out clean. Also played Dishonored for an hour, no crashes there - it used to crash at around 15-20 minutes of playing.

Totally agree with you there Jaedar. One of the reasons I like it so much is that is kinda reminds me of Homeworld which I really want to play again now.
