If the lighting causes the problems, maybe it would be a possible workaround to create dark sky textures and set them to fullbright (I think that's what it's called) in UnrealEd? There must be some way to fix this, because Unreal itself has skies that look great. http://classes.soe.ucsc.edu/cmps164/...

For example, adding an unreachable third floor to the 'Ton doesn't change anything and that is the idea we're going for. I was confused because I didn't catch the "unreachable" part before, thought it was something like making an half-finished third floor the devs left in the map accessible or some...

This looks somewhat wierd in the market level: http://i53.tinypic.com/2ed44dy.jpg From the start of the level, go to the bottom right (behind the luminous path compound) to see it. I guess it was supposed to look like dusk, but with the purple color it doesn't really look like it's intended that way...
