Re: HDTP beta

So the floating rat thing, the widesreen holes in weapons, and the scope/binocular scaling were all definitely pre-existing. The scope and binocular scaling are tied into the UI scaling somehow. If it's on default you get giant low-res UI elements but you get the correct large scope and binoculars. ...

Re: HDTP beta

Well that crossbow is fired from the shoulder like a gun and the scope would be very near the eye. The mini-crossbow is fired from the wrist. However, there are scopes for bows that mount near the wrist so it's not all that strange to see a scope on a wrist mounted crossbow. Those scopes don't look ...

Re: Shipyards Keys

There's an actual closet with supplies in it right near where you get the 'Key to the Supply Closet' but that key doesn't open that door. I always assumed that was some kind of bug.

Shipyards Keys

So I'm trying to find two nanokeys on the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard level. One for the ammunition bay door (the large corrigated metal one that faces the crane and subpen) and the other for the sewer valve door. When I use my keyring on these doors instead of saying 'It's locked' it says 'You don't ha...

Re: Beta Textures to do:

Has any thought been given to reskinning some of the existing HDTP models to fill out the cast a little bit more? For example, the workmen in orange coveralls and work helmets were the same model as MJ12/UNATCO troops before with only some slight differences in the faces. Scientists were the same mo...

Re: Beta

If it's out Friday does that mean the beta is over and I should stop posting stuff?

Re: Beta

Several things here. Flipped textures, odd clipping, possible SD textures (maybe my eyes just suck?). Also some props. The two textures at the end are freaking awesome but for completely different reasons. Let me know if I'm beta testing wrong, don't want to waste my time or yours with results you ...

Re: HDTP beta

There's some odd movement in a part of Walton Simon's collar when he talks. When the mouth is in certain positions a chunk of the collar gets displaced. You can see the differences in the two comparison screen shots but it's way easier to see in motion.

Re: Beta

This is probably going to sound nit-picky but I'm reasonably sure this wall with ivy texture is upside down at least based on the references material I could find.

Re: Beta

Figured it couldn't hurt to post some examples of what I'm talking about. They start after the four shots of the strange shadow behavior. Speak of which, not sure what that could be from. Probably another renderer thing.

Re: Beta

I thought my screenshot button wasn't working with the launcher before I realized it was saving the shots to the deus ex/system folder in my documents. Question about new vision testing. What renderer with what setting would you prefer? Right now I'm using D3D10 with pretty much everything set to 't...

Re: HDTP beta

I'm getting the white goggles effect on holograms with only HDTP installed but only on the vanilla models after I've turned the HDTP models off through the in-game menu.

Re: HDTP beta

The guide at kentie.net has screen shots of what I'm talking about. The first one shows the Data Directories button, the third one from the top, and the third shot is of the Data Directories screen. Beta Testing Results: I believe the MJ12 issue was identified as relating to the sitting animation an...
