Not sure. I'll try very soon. Meanwhile, here's a real documented bug (though a minor one).

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Another example: Sometimes taking care of the bots that Alistair (DLC) wants to be taken down will briefly make Alistair hostile to you, which is of course quite ironic. Not really. As I understand it, things are set to be more paranoid around guns. Usually most of the AI in Nihilum seems to be set...

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Ah, yes, I remember playing that map at one point (9-10 months ago) and wondering why the action music started playing even though I was just blowing up doors or somesuch and had taken care of all the mercs topside. I thought this was maybe something you programmed, since I can use other guns to ta...

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Fun little side effect. I found the mercenaries in the sewers went hostile when I would use the paratrooper gun on that map. Didn't expect it, but different, not to mention all the locked doors.

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

At which part is this? Alistair is only supposed to appear after you've talked to ZED (the power grid doesn't have to be disabled, since Alistair's not with UNATCO). After I talked to ZED. Really the main proof of that screen shot is that you can make it that you really don't have to talk to Alista...

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Relax, it's not a bug. Just a screen shot of something interesting (to me) I was able to do. Unless you intended the player to have to talk to Alistair at that point...in that case...well...

Re: What to Install to Get All HD Textures and Related MODS

I've now concluded that I should try soon a new playthrough, with the goal of staying within the 1,000 save limit. Now that I'm aware of that limit, I should be able to gauge my saves accordingly. I didn't understand all that previously. Like they say, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again....

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Never played the stuff. Thanks for the heads-up I’ll try it someday. Let me know what you think when you do. Usually, for people I've heard that played it, they usually don't give it a fair shot. There's not too much plot to it, but some decent action sequences that can be a challenge. @g...

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

Just checked the map, apparently you can get the general key for most of the estate doors in the closet next to the basement entrance (so behind the blast door that you'd have to blow up at that point)... I found that key towards the end of the game. May have to count how many doors I break one tim...

Re: DX Loader 2.03

One thing I made a point to do on my current go-around with Deus Ex stuff was to not run the save optimizer on the loader until I got through a lot of games and mods. It provides a good demonstration of the possibility of utilizing this and hopefully demonstrates that there's no smoke and mirrors. Y...

Re: Deus Ex: Nihilum [Post-Release Issues] [SPOILERS]

- So I second what ggrotz said about the scarcity of some items. Even if you go trained in "Lockpicking" or use the "Lockpick Trick" (which is the same, you’ll often end up using 1 lockpick) you’ll hit a wall whatever your play style is because lockpicks are few and far between, Indeed. I just play...
