I always thought that the spy drone was insanely broken even though I never see it used in actual runs (probably due to the bio-electric consumption).
An idea I had was that after every transition (helicopter, submarine, etc). the player would be healed 10 points on lower difficulties (Easy, Medium).

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced
I just got a neat idea for the graveyard; replacing the music when you enter Dowd's den with the unused music (since it was originally intended for the graveyard).

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced
hey, that departure music is rather exceptional. You made that yourself? Yeah. To be honest, I could probably improve on it a bit. Perhaps you can make a new Area51 UMX that uses the unused A51 music for the combat music? I'd imagine it being a very simple change for someone that knows what they ar...

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced
Funny you mention that; I actually made a departure track for the Shipyard (in UMX).FastGamerr wrote: No need to create new UMX files when DXOgg exists.

Re: GMDX Art Thread
Although I haven't played GMDX (9.0) in a while, I'm pretty sure that they do have the armor, as well as the mask

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced
Probably a dumb question, but currently, do you lose stamina from getting shot?

Re: Level systems: Automated vs. Gated
I personally prefer gated. Automated is very tedious, and gated leaves the player having to make more choices (What skills to pick, what actions are worth risking, etc).

Re: Level systems: Automated vs. Gated
Just throwing it out there, but making a big fuss about it isn't going to make things any better. Just don't respond to him if you don't want any more trouble.

I always thought that the (HDTP) sniper rifle without the scope looked like an assault rifle.

Re: GMDXv9.0 Announced
Yeah, that one I was a little confused about. I suppose it's a generalization since alot of DX modders on ModDB are foreign (With Russia being pretty popular in this case). Either that, or it's because 2027 is a Russian mod he seems to be obsessed with.

How about we just uh... ignore him. Yeah.

Re: If you created the ultimate video game, what would it be
1. Immersive, engaging story that keeps the player thinking. 2. Gameplay that never get's repetitive, even without trying. Very replay-able, without compromises on gameplay time. 3. A Consistent, creative, and original graphics style that blends in with the atmosphere of the game (plot and gameplay ...

Re: The Supplementary GMDX Weapon Topic
Red dot sights seem to make sense for the time period, since they're used more commonly today then conventional scopes (with the exception of sniper rifles). Although personally, I'm in favour of a semi-original concept for a scope. Something like a nano "On the fly" reticle inside of the actual sco...

Re: GMDX Art Thread
Well, I never meant to have different ammo mods for every weapon. Just make the description and name more generalized so that it makes sense for all weapons.
(I just came to the realization that changing the name is impossible since NPC's refer to it as a clip mod)

Re: The Supplementary GMDX Weapon Topic
Here's my idea. For shotguns, the second scope mod adds a second reticle that shows the spread of the pellets (which changes based on accuracy mods and skills). The player can add an additional weapon mod to any scope that will show if the target is wearing armor or not (Which the targeting aug does...
