Jonas can answer specifics on that one better than I, at least on 'quoting'. We do poke fun at various things in DX that don't quite make sense...and some things that do.

I think the most accurate answer I can provide is "way too often". Constantly. All the bloody time.

like what? the fact that the game takes place exclusively at night time? The speeds of the Black Helicopter?

Shush, Shane.

It depends what you mean by quote, I guess. TNM is one of those painfully selfaware endlessly intertextual pieces of postmodern crap that Quentin Tarantino keeps spewing out, so there are references to all sorts of things, but obviously Deus Ex takes the cake since the entire mod is based on it.

So there won't be a street preformer who spews out Deus Ex diolauge whenever you pay him?

There won't be a lot of direct quotes in general, no.

If you want day time though, I recommend Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Crysis, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, STALKER, Dark Messiah, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Tomb Raider: Legends, or Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 or 2. And that's just off the top of my head. Remember that the DX-brand of stealth relies heavily on shadows, so a daylight mission would be really hard.

But I guess you'll just have to play the game to see ;)
