Hello. Some of you may remember me from a couple of years ago when I decided to make some crazy videos of me playing TNM as a speedrun and with no items (which you can find here - http://www.youtube.com/user/Smithereens ... rid&view=1)
It's just occurred to me how significant this was for me. I remember at the time I made these videos I was meant to be revising for my A levels at school, but TNM was so much fun and so addictive that my work ethic considerably dropped. I remember how I was sat at my desk, supposed to be sitting past papers or reading literary criticism, but all I could think about were potential grenade jumping locations or ways to use the lollerskates. As a result I didn't do very well in a few of my modules, and only got into my bottom choice of uni. You may think that to be bad, but you'd be wrong. Getting into that university was the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I've had the best time of my life. So thank you Jonas, Trestkon, and everyone else involved with TNM for creating a game so addictive that it inadvertently took my life in a different, but in retrospect better, direction.
A rather different thank you

You're welcome, I hope .
But you should walk having internal dignity. Be a wonderful person who can dance pleasantly to the rhythm of the universe.

Uhm, not sure if I should say "you're welcome" or "I'm sorry". But I'll go with the former I suppose. You're welcome
And thanks for the thanks.

Yes, but did you build in the feature that will make people forget to pay rent?Jonas wrote:Well some of us are doing another game!

Re: A rather different thank you
It's more a combination of other features, but I'm hoping that's going to happen, yes.
Ideally I want to take it one step further and make people's significant other leave them due to neglect as well.
