Loaded it up last night for the first time in a years and I just get goosebumps and chills when I hear the main theme kick in. I'm only in the Downtown area but it's just as good as I remember only with a hint of nostalgia enhancing it further. I remember waiting for it's release, what, 7 years ago now? I still have the DVD which I bought on release too which is nicely packaged. Gonna be nice rediscovering this mod further after a few years away.

Regardless of whether you see this, good job lads.

All the best features are the ones we never designed, they just sort of feature-creeped their way in there because of an insane programmer or a hyperactive level designer. This is why I never write big design documents anymore

I've also been replaying TNM for the first time in far too long.
Playing a WC runthrough, I laughed myself silly when I heard Scara's PM after I hit the wrong key I'd set up as a spawnmass command. I was in God Mode, thankfully, and instead hitting the key I'd intended, for 50 pepperspray projectiles, I hit the key for 50 standard GEP rocket projectiles, at almost point blank range at Kylie. Instant complete gib of her, and then hearing Scara go verbally ballistic at me, I was laughing like crazy for nearly the next 10 minutes.
By the time I'd calmed down enough to look at the game again, there was mass bloodsplatter in the WC lobby from me, from the WC commandos and bots trying to kill me.
Absolutely silly.

In my WC playthrough I just caused the PMs from TG in the Slums, when you kill Kevo, then the WC sapper squad, then the firewalls, and finally MH.
Another one of those laugh myself silly situations

Hearing TG deliver the deadpan scornful snark at my actions is brilliant.
I just wonder what would have been the PMs if Scara had been the one to send them.
