Hey guys, now that I'm "active" just thought I'd introduce myself:

My name's Brian (obviously) and I feel pretty lame because I don't have 1337 handles like the rest of you :-P. Anyway, looking forward to working with you guys and if there's anything else I can do to help let me know (it'd be cool to make sound fx for the mod, if there's anything left that needs to be done).

Don't worry, not everyone has awesome handles. I mean, Jonas just uses his name...what's up with that?

The bulk of our sound fx have been finished, but we *do* randomly decide we need new ones every once in a while, in which case we can throw them your way :-)

Did you manage to find a copy of DX online?

Yeah, for $10 on d2d. I'm going to download it tonight overnight, although I'm sure it's not too big. Just out of curiosity, does anyone here work for a development studio?

To my knowledge none of the team work for a development studio though at least a couple of our team members/affiliates have worked professionally before.

And of course we do have professionals on the team insofar as you can be a professional programmer without programming games, for example.

Can you be a professional slacker? If so, I qualify.

Yeah I meant professionally for a dev studio. Several of us fulfill our team roles professionally as well.

I use Uscript and UnrealEd all the time as a scientist studying yeast mRNA turnover.

Honest.

Does that count?

Trestkon already asked about being a professional slacker. The answer is no.

So glad I decided against studying chem, DDL. That sounds so boring. I much prefer fiber optic coupling of Nd:YAG lasers >:)
