Don't worry about it, it look like crap anyway. Definitely a placeholder.

Yeah, I couldn't get terragen to make a space scene. Is it possible?

no, i don't think it can. it certainly can't handle stars and such.

terragen 2 might be able to, but this thing to so confusing in makes my mind asplode.

Jonasman, I have a slight issue with the otherwise fantastic AI puzzle graphics.

The blue 'empty space' blocks are very deceiving, at least, they were to me. The way the embossing is done on them they really look like they're sticking 'out' of the image.

However, on second glance, it's more of a 'necker cube' effect on those blocks. As in, you can perceive them as either popping 'in' or 'out'. It would probably be good to texture them in such a way there there is no doubt that they are empty spaces.

Well my only idea is to remove the embossing from them completely. That okay, or do you have a better suggestion?

Might be best to remove it entirely, but let's get some additional opinions, first.

i'd suggest removing them as well, although it doesn't bother me as much as it probably should.

Guys, I've updated the first post in this thread with more textures I need, specifically for the space station. I also put the GUI stuff Rice is working on in there.

Fub helped with the grime on the backside, but I did the labels and the keyboard :D

Mwuahah, fantastic! That keyboard looks so much better :) And it's my favorite background!

I notice in that first shot that the monitor has a bit of a clipping error, perhaps the collision radius needs increasing?

Has the computer been imported? Or is that an old version or something?

That's an old version, the screen itself isn't unlit as it should be.

You guys, I don't know a lot about modelling, but right now the keyboard uses a 256x128 area of a 512x512 (and is therefore downsized to 128x64 without the enhanged OGL renderer) and it's the only part of the entire top half of the texture that's used. Would it be too much work for you guys to increase its area to take up the entire top half of the texture now that you're working on the model anyway? Here's an image to illustrate:
