Unfortunately most of those already have been done:EER wrote:It would be a shame to have things been done twice
Although the wall will probably be redone (it tiles poorly)
DDL, texture size shouldn't slow it down - only loading textures slows down the game. So once they're all loaded it should run just as well as before.
Well Dave, perhaps you can have him send you all he's done and see if he's redone anything you haven't

I agree with jonas. Those wood textures actually look pretty detailed.. though a bit too bright compared to the originals. (lets not forget that those docks have been around for over a century) That could be easily fixed with a colorize though and perhaps an overlay.
Also NYCBar isn't going anywhere until my HDD comes back from RA. I can't work with just 10GB of space because Windows Vista needs that to pretty much run effectively. I just hope that its fixed so that I can have my 1TB to play with (I run out of space easily). When it gets back from RA I'll probably get XP going and get NYCBar and most if not all of NYC done hopefully before December. That's my goal anyway.
It does suck not being able to work on NV and I have no idea why my HDD broke after only a day of having it.

More like Photoshop, 3DSMax.. MS Office. Basically anything I can actually USE. I do actually buy games you know. (I didn't buy STALKER though..)Then stop pirating all those games, you criminal person you
My issue is that I do a lot of other work in High Def, notably all my Uni work is on my Vista drive which is A1 size and consists of over 100 layers. That's what happens when you go to art school
No I think it was faulty to begin with, I tried formating and it never partitioned properly. I originally suspected the SATA cable, then my Mother Board.. but it turned out to be the actual HDD, sometimes it'll boot but most of the time it doesn't and I could actually write data to the drive strangely.Because harddisks over 200 GB are more fragile than snow flakes
Ooh nice. Perhaps experiment with making it look dirtier, older, more worn, however? They are medieval catacombs after all

I haven't got to that yet! That's the original texture
The overlay has caused a few tiling issues, but it certainly looks a lot better now.
The horizontal skulls look extremely out of place, I'll fix that
Does anyone (Jonas, perhaps? ) know how to change the camera FOV? It'd be so much better for interior texture shots.
