Re: any way to undo New Vison?
Did you install the enhanced opengl renderer which is required for the changes to appear? Without it, it reverts back to the originals.
Also if you do this New Vision will work with Multiplayer you won't see the changes in multiplayer though, because it will revert to the normal textures since no multiplayer server runs New Vision textures.

Re: any way to undo New Vison?
I thought that New Vision stopped you actually playing DXMP due to Texture package Mismatches or something?
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

It does, but with the method I mentioned it will think to itself:nerdenstein wrote:I thought that New Vision stopped you actually playing DXMP due to Texture package Mismatches or something?
"Okay these textures mismatch, but oh wait! what's this below it!?!"
Never mind, it doesn't work like that after all, but it does make it much easier to uninstall New Vision for when you play Multiplayer. All you have to do is go to that NewVision folder and rename it to anything else, like.... "NewVision1", or "NewVisionOFF"
Re: any way to undo New Vison?
Does New Vision actually work fully with just the enhanced OpenGL renderer? I thought you had to use the D3D9 renderer.
But to answer the original poster's question: depends. If you overwrote your original .utx files with NV's, then no - you'll have to reinstall the game. If you did the sensible thing and backed the original files up, for example by moving them into another folder, then you can just move them back again.

Sorry JC_Helios.
I missed your first link.
Thats a better way of doing it rather than over writing textures I think.
