I am in the old server complex at the room with the (Invulnerable >.>) cardboard boxes, how do I get past there? I do not usually need help with games or mods but this really has me stumped...

While you're at the door, look high on the left, somewhere in a middle of the room. Look for red.

And, fyi, that specific thing AND a bunch of other things about that mission are being overhauled in Patch 1, as we're aware it's fairly horrible to play.
