The samething happened to me!
Brightly glowing green sticks of cliché uranium would be nice.

But..... they're behind a freakin laser trip wired turret, they gotta be important! Let me guess you guys shot the containers, looked at the flares and figured it wasn't worth it? I exploited the standard Deus Ex flaw: get as close as you can to the lasers, grab the box through the lasers, walk off.
