OK I'm playing with alternate endings now I want Narcissus

Got the Narcissus ending . It was a bit..... weird it went from intriguing(Being told the name, getting insight from the 'sub routines'), to funny( The box, the aesthetic properties of fire, etc.), to awkward ( Trestkon's monologue), and then childish( I don't know where I recall it from but the very end reminded me of some movie or other game.... gave the whole feeling of like a child playing with toys.... Super Smash Bros! I think that was it...).

Over all the ending was great, I was a little disappointed that I got the normal denouement... I was kind of hoping to hear Trestkon trying to imitate Narcissus' denouements or something.

Also, I didn't kill Jackie.....

I found out all along that I enabled the ending on my first playthrough... still don't know how :S

So? What happened? Also I need to know what storyline you were on - PDX or WC? And did you knock her out? If so, before or after DXI?

The cube said that I did. She still came up in the Denouement though.

I do remember knocking out Kunio Kun, and this caused Jackie to go hostile to me. I went back to Sol's one or two times after escaping with Kunio's unconscious body, but I made extra sure not to knock her out. (After what I heard happens to AO if you do it to him.) On day 2 she was friendly to me, I found the people behind the bombing, killed them, had Jackie tell me where DXO was, everything went fine. Jackie never went unconscious, or died.

Oops I see the problem - a couple of flag checks were true when they should be false. Alas. Will be fixed in patch 1.0.2, sorry you had to miss it. But this is another good reason to play through TNM again, eh?

I'm with JC_Helios. When Narcissus suddenly starts acting differently towards you, it's a bit of a shock, but something that makes the replays worth it.

Still not sure what specific events I found to trigger it, would there be a way of checking from the flags or something?
