Paul as JC

Ok, tested and it works. MAN it's a headfuck: the convo on the docks looked so weird with the characters reversed, and seeing Paul's voice coming out of JC's mouth (and vice versa) is surprisingly unsettling.

Anyway.

What you need to do is unzip and then add this package (attached) to your deusex\system folder. Then, you need to copy both Deusex.ini and User.ini (both in the system folder) and paste them somewhere safe in case things fuck up. Then open Deusex.ini (use notepad for viewing), and edit the following lines:

(under [URL])

Code: Select all

Class=Deusex.JCDentonMale

(under [Engine.Engine])

Code: Select all

DefaultGame=DeusEx.DeusExGameInfo

these should be changed to

Class=ZOMGPaul.Playerpauldenton

DefaultGame=ZOMGPaul.PlayerPaulDenton

Then scroll down to the long list of EditPackages=, and add to the bottom of the list

EditPackages=ZOMGPaul

Save that. Now open user.ini and change


(under [DefaultPlayer])

Code: Select all

Class=Deusex.JCDentonMale

to

Class=ZOMGPaul.PlayerPaulDenton

and save that too.

Now you should be set! Boot up DX normally, and see if it works!

(also note, if you are using HDTP, you should backup and then edit HDTPDeusEx.ini and HDTPuser.ini instead of the ones suggested above: this is because HDTP uses different ini files)

i forget my polite, this kind of shit make me angry. i have wrote i want to play paul in singleplayer on the main game.
pls dont give me a answer if someone have no a idea how it is to do. thats senseless.

Last I checked, The 'Unrealistic' Difficulty setting on the Shifter Mod changed the Player Character (In Single Player) to the character selected as player character in the Multiplayer Character selection



Hint, Get the Unrealistic Difficulty by Right Clicking Realistic ..

damn men, u write bullshit i right click the realistic button and get unrealistic, then i saw jc. pls dont get my time men if u have nothing helpful to say.

As I recall, it allows you to choose who you will play as with JC as default.

Did you try changing it away from JC, or did you just take a look at JC, assume that nerdenstein was a dirty rotten liar, and then give up without even trying to play as Paul?

Very big thanks again DDL, it works perfect. You was dont sure on working this both skins later the mj12 prison, but i still find out now that is work without problems.
