Changing player model

Post by DeadYorick »

After playing Deus Ex for the bagillionth time on my ancient CD. I decided to buy the Steam version during it's sale for 2.50$. After reinstalling shifter I decided what the hell. Why not spice things up a little.

Basically, I am wondering how you can change JC's player model to something else. Specifically I am looking for the NSF trooper model

Playing as a different player model using Shifter is dead easy.
Choose the character/model you want in the Player Setup in the Multiplayer menu,
then go to new game and Right Click Realistic.
This will change to unrealistic mode.
Now choose skills, watch intro and play

*P.S. I think thats how it works anywho. Tell me if i'm wrong I'ma go try it*
*P.P.S Shifter works with Steam Version? I wasnt sure if it did! Happy Now :D*
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Ah its working now. Many thanks, I didn't know about the whole Unrealistic thing

EDIT: Well it works for all the non default player models. But the default ones like the NSF trooper, the UNATCO trooper and the MJ-12 trooper do not appear at all. Instead JC looks invisible.
