Movers with multiple keyframes

Post by AgentSmithereens »

I haven't quite got the hang of this yet. I want to make a hatch which has 3 keyframes:

0 - it starts flat on the ground
1 - it moves up a few inches
2 - it moves sideways
(similar to the one in the NSF Helibase which takes you down into the sewers).

I've tried to get the thing working, but so far the closest I've come is to get it to go from 0-2, then back to 1, whereupon if I frob it again it just switches from 1 to 2. Any help (read: step-by-step instructions which an idiot would understand)? Thanks.

Ok, so you've set up the keyframes properly, in the correct order?

Have you made sure that numkeys is set to 3, rather than 2?

Heh, well that was an easy fix, thanks DDL.
It didn't say anything about the numkeys value in any of the tutorials I read.
