Getting an invisible pickup model, need help

A refuge for those migrating from the fallen DXEditing.com and a place for general discussion relating to Deus Ex editing (coding, mapping, etc).

Nice work Rain! So is that a Counter-Strike Source Model?
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Well done Rain, this thread is extremely useful, we are trying to import weps/animations for our Human Revolution MP mod.

Yeah, it's a Counter-Strike: Source skin from Gamebanana. I will get permission of course, before releasing any of these publicly.

Glad I could be of help. Actually, once I get a weapon imported, animated and working in DX, I plan to make a full tutorial on just that. :D
Once I can get rid of the "out of sequence" crap. Incidentally, is there any other way to export 3D Studio to DX format?

For those interested, I plan on porting a Nighthawk T3,

AMT Hardballer,

Thompson Contender G2, made famous in The Specialists,

SCAR-L

and a couple more. Yeah, this is mainly about handguns. 8)

Thank god I'm past all of that confusing crap.
Unr2de was giving me out of sequence errors because my objects were out of sequence. Go figure. When I pulled up the select by name list I saw something like 01, 03, 02. Either I selected things in the wrong order, or I didn't name my objects correctly, or deleted a frame I needed or left one in that I didn't. One thing I found was that because I named one object 1911, 3DS wouldn't assign a number to my snapshots, so I had to name it Colt. This is all very important to remember when exporting a model for Deus Ex.

Now all I have to deal with are 3DS setbacks.
It's probably a longshot but... anyone know how to attach or combine objects without losing their animations/skins?

The website is looking bit flashy and it catches the visitors eyes. Design is pretty simple and a good user friendly interface. 아로마마사지

I know your expertise on this. I must say we should have an online discussion on this. Writing only comments will close the discussion straight away! And will restrict the benefits from this information. Commercial Air Duct Cleaning
