I'm sure there is a way to do this, but I am not sure how. What I would like to do, for say a weapon or NPC, is change around the animations for certain events.
An example is that once I wanted to have a gun turret gun as a minigun weapon, but when you "reloaded" it, I wanted to hide the first person mesh so you didn't see it so it looks like its being reloaded and have the fire animation when you shoot it, but I didn't know how to code that.
Another is that I had an NPC that if it were killed, instead of falling down and spawning a carcass, it instead did the jump animation and then exploded but was unsure how to do that.
Can anyone help?
