Sorry about that, I upgraded the forums about an hour ago and although the upgrade is finished, the search index got out of sync. It's been re-indexing for about 45 minutes now. If I recall correctly, it took about 2 hours last time....

Thanx. Since you had the foresight to bribe me with a funny video, I might as well ramble a bit on the avatar's origins.



The character is Dr. Ulee, played by Liam Kyle Sullivan of A Liam Show. To my knowledge, Dr. Ulee only appears in his self-titled video, Dr. Ulee, Sex Therapist (six and a half minutes of pure awkwardness followed by two and a half minutes of hilarity and capped by a non-sequitur that ruins everything). The image is shamelessly cropped from the following ad on LiamShow.com:



Unless you were trapped in a well for most of 2007 you probably know Liam from his Kelly videos, especially Shoes.

Fun Fact: Several of my previous avatars from these forums, the ruins of the graveyard of the forums formerly known as the PDX forums, and elsewhere were from Shoes, including the guy at the shoe shop getting his face stepped on by Kelly and The Purple Guy being The Purple Guy (I was a bit disappointed to find that Liam now has a series about him--I have no idea how that could not ruin his mystique). I don't have time at the moment to see if any of those avatars are still in the system(s), but anyone who can find them wins a free glance at my previous Shoes avatars! It's like a contest!
